About Us

Christian students united to love one another and to serve their schools.

What We Believe

Our Statement of Faith

  1. Fuse holds the Bible to be the authoritative, inspired revelation of God for life and practice in His Church.
  2. Fuse affirms the Nicene Creed (AD 381), confessing with believers throughout the centuries the foundational truths of the Christian faith.
  3. Fuse holds that God eternally exists in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—each co-equal, co-eternal, and fully God, distinct yet inseparable, working harmoniously in creation, redemption, and the ongoing sanctification of believers.
  4. Fuse holds that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man, who lived a sinless life. He was crucified, died for our sins, and rose again for us and for our salvation. God offers this salvation to us as a gift of grace by which we are forgiven, justified, and granted eternal life through Jesus Christ. All people are called to receive this grace through faith, repent of their sin, and follow Jesus.
  5. Fuse holds that all people were created in God’s image; God loves and values them deeply regardless of race, religion, orientation, or ideology. Because every person bears God’s image, Christians should strive to love and value all people, always acting for their true good.

Who We Are

Fuse loves students, teachers, and schools.

The work of raising up the next generation is not only difficult but taxing. The work of being a student is also tough. But both of these labors are immensely important.

Fuse desires to support and care for students, teachers, and schools as they do this valuable work. Because of this, Fuse club leaders will always put themselves in a posture of service to school administrations and students.

The goal of Fuse is to create loving community among whoever would participate in it and then to let that love overflow into helpful service for their school context.

Unity

Fuse strives for unity.

Fuse is not affiliated with a particular body of Christians. Fuse intends to unite Christians of differing denominational backgrounds into a community centered on Christ and the life of love and service he led.

While Fuse was created to provide loving community for Christians, it will always welcome anyone who desires to join in its mission to serve and to love others.

Our Approach

We lead with service, not demands.

Fuse clubs partner with their schools rather than oppose them.

01

Serve the administration

We partner with school leadership, make their job easier through positive student engagement, and aim to be a resource rather than a burden.

02

Be a blessing

We focus on what we can give, not what we can get, meeting real needs in the school community and building bridges, not walls.

03

Respect the school’s role

We respect the school’s authority and its need to stay neutral, work within its guidelines willingly, and keep an open, ongoing conversation with administrators.

“Seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.”

Jeremiah 29:7

When the school is blessed, everyone is blessed, including Christian students.

Why It Works

Following the way of Jesus

The example of Jesus

It follows Jesus.

Jesus made himself a servant of others. He met people’s needs and built relationships. Servant leadership is our model.

Romans 13

It honors authority.

God established governing authorities for a reason. We work within school systems rather than against them and build trust through consistent service.

A winsome contrast

It opens doors.

Unlike confrontational approaches, service builds goodwill, opens doors for deeper conversations, and creates curiosity rather than defensiveness.

Bonus: Fuse Gatherings

Clubs come first. Gatherings grow out of them.

Fuse exists to create a gathering place inside schools where Christian students love one another and serve their classmates, teachers, and school. That everyday work in school clubs is the heart of Fuse.

As clubs grow, students from different churches become friends, and pastors from different churches get to know one another as they support those students. Fuse interchurch gatherings are a natural result of those relationships. They bring students and churches together outside of school to fulfill the same vision: loving one another and serving those around us.

Anyone who wants to love and serve others is welcome at Fuse clubs and gatherings.

  1. Step 1

    School clubs form

Christian students gather in their schools to love one another and serve their school.

  2. Step 2

    Relationships grow

Students and pastors from different churches connect as they support the clubs together.

  3. Step 3

    Churches gather

Those relationships lead to interchurch gatherings that fulfill the same vision.
